ECT Button Not Working!!

i have searched and as of yet could not find an answer...

my problem is it does NOT work..... no matter how many times i press it...

i have checked and its all connected right....

any ideas if it could be a fuse or something more serious???

I'm assuming you mean DOSEN'T work
How do you know its not working?

tried searching that bushy???

i will take switch out tomorrow and test switch with multimeter??

yeah, thats what I was going to say, more noise, more deisel, very little extra go...

I was under the impression that it was on and wouldn't turn off...?

The only thing the button does is hold the gears for longer, for pulling things, and for going up hills.
Thats why I asked " how do you know its not working?"

no lights come on or off :P

maybe the lights not working
Try driving with it on or off and then depress the button and try again.
Keep an eye on the gear changes and note when it shifts up.
