  • Ouch!

Just got my baby back from the garage.
At £1170 its the most expensive MOT I've ever had

    £400 on 4 new tyres.
£100 on cam belt, ball joints, gator kit etc
    Labour-
£180 to fit the cam belt (requires dismantling most of the engine)
£160 to fit the ball joints (again hard to do)
£50 to fix the wiring the car audio guy butchered.
£80ish on oil change and various small parts
    VAT

    Had to be done though.

Now, how much do you reckon I could get for my kidney?

Hate to annoy you after that big pay out, but just had mine in for MOT yesterday and she passed without a hitch

Yeah, so did mine . Then the CV boot split while on holiday. You'll pay in the long run for feeling smug. I towed my caravan without a hitch. Quite an achievement, really!
I hope your tyres never go square and wear at the corners
      It's only a hobby!
