MMMmm There's that Englishman with the Airband scanner who lives between three army bases. Wonder if he has a laser targeter as well?

I just followed a Super Puma from Aberdeen, out to a 'rig, and back in. How cool is that!

I was watching ASTOR (now known as Sentinel) flying a racetrack between Oxford and Malvern this afternoon, no doubt on radar trials. Went outside when the track was over here, and... there she was! VERY cool!

There's a 1 in 5 chance I've sat on that particular plane too!

No, Greenville TX, at the systems integrators (Raytheon) before Wadders got their hands on them.

                          Shame Concorde's not running anymore.

Would have liked to have watched that overtake everything.

I am the installer for the uk distributer to the sbs system so for obvious reasons i have a box..I often have it on when im sitting in the den and when i hear a plane a quick look at the laptop tells me if its worth going out and having a look...
In the very near future all aircraft will have to carry mode s but im seeing more and more light aircraft on the listing but they are not giving a plot on the screen so the days of the anorak sitting at the side of airport with binoculars are getting less and less....

I ve just acquired the one with better ears and the ethernt module so now i can sit in the garden with the laptop how sad am i guilty as charged.

Also have a look at www.flightradar24.com
