cheers Rich, i was just reading roughtrax add, yes you are right they are exchange units (don't know why they want a cracked head).

Presumably scrap metal for the cracked head but they do whole cylinder head units including cams, etc, and they could certainly recon some of the internals.

the new head doesn't come with injectors or glow plugs as far as i know, so will be needing to keep a set.

i have just pm'd Stevo, does he come on here much or has someone got a number for him?

keep both lots John and see which ones are the better out of the 2.

well she had a lot of abuse over the years and has served me well and i can't fault the truck but the end had to come sometime.

you know what its like Tony when you got to have a vehicle but i was hoping the beast would of lasted till i got my compo but mandys mum come to the rescue today so i was able to act fast and good job i did cause bogus was after it aswell today and i just beat him to by about 5 mins

this one will be working hard aswellup and down the country towing trucks about and i will enjoy it as much as the 2nd gen but you never forget the 1st truck tho

yea John they worked that well they burnt all your hair off ..
