Rich, regarding my head, i have been thinking (it hurts) if i go for another second hand one i will still have to get it skimmed and tested just to be sure. more money and time so im inclinded to get the credit card out and get a roughtrax jobbie for £599. What do you want me to do with the head you sent me?

should i go down the roughtrax way then there will be no immediate rush for reinbursment as i will be using a credit card so i will not have to pay for it untill the end of the month.

any advice would be more than welcome as to which way i should go regarding a new head...

the roughtrax heads are meant to be good and i think they may be an exchange so use the one i sent you for the exchange if needed.I would also get the built up head as it will make life easier for you.

cheers Rich, i was just reading roughtrax add, yes you are right they are exchange units (don't know why they want a cracked head).
as i now have 2 cracked heads its not a problem if you want yours back.

yea Stevo does them aswell.Before you get rid of the heads John take the glow plugs and injectors out as they were decent ones in the head i sent and the injectors i would normally sell for about £35 - £40 plus p&p for the 4 so well worth holding onto them and also the leak off pipe is another bit to keep hold of for another £15 i sell them for

the new head doesn't come with injectors or glow plugs as far as i know, so will be needing to keep a set.

i have just pm'd Stevo, does he come on here much or has someone got a number for him?
