Got a weepie rad,could have it soldered in situ ,but decided to take it out. Surprisingly easy job, couple of awkward bolts ,otherwise ok. Thought to flush the system, but thermostat didnt want to play. So thought heater hose, but that didnt want to play either. Anyway rad was clean and so was coolant so will do it another time. But learnt a lesson, gonna keep spare thermostat , cap and a few hoses and clips. Infact will compile a list and slowly build up a stock of bits and pieces. I suppose Roughtrax or Milners will be ok. Anybody know of any other suppliers near Devizes?

i carry some hose's and clips just in case too
also paracetamol tubs fit in the hose and make a fine easy fix on the side of the road
you have to cut the bottom of the tub
i did miles with the one i did
a few clips and heat proof tape (i carry that too)
