Personally I wouldn't give a monkeys about the scratches cos mine get scratched to hell anyway - weapons grade gorse in Wales!

As long as it's mechanically sound and there's no rust it should be a good truck. Even mechanically, they're fixable for not much money usually.

I know when I chased one just over 2 years ago I also lost out ... (went n got me another) 3 days later I was offered the original at less than the winning bid but (still dearer that the one i ended up with)!! so alls not lost yet ...
