Hello Richard ! that was quick ! with cable outside does that mean I don't need a dish ? Oh and you know when you change your wheels, do you have a new 'home' for them ?

Had Telewest / Virgin for about 6 years now and never had a real problem with their system. A plus point is that with the 'L' TV package you get quite a few HD channels without extra payment, unlike Sky where I believe you have to pay for HD.

Broadband had ben very good with only a few, very short, breaks in the service.

          don't think sky do cable.
At the moment there isn't a home for them but it will depend if i can find replacements to fit on the truck for towing as the big wheels may be a bit awkward but once they are fitted i will test them out.Saying that tho John 15's won't fit on the 3rd gen as the drums are bigger so you'll need 16" rims

Cable will most likely be Virgin. If you opt for Sky it will be a dish.

Thanks for that ! We went through the ordering system with Virgin all went well then they started changing instalation dates so we cancelled (maybe a little hastily)

Whatever you do stay the fuc away from Talk Talk. I was with tiscali fo broadband for 8 trouble free years talk talk bought them 3 months ago and am off. MAC code on route and anyone must be better than this mob.

I really can't describe how sh it this company is life is to short.

I have go the BT package, BT broadband and phone line and BT vision.

BT broadband has never been off since i have had it, and BT vision..well i like the On demand tv more, i hate watching constant repeats that you get on sky.

My daughter had Tiscali at her old house. When she moved she phoned them (now Talk Talk) up to tell them she was moving to a new address and could they install at said new address. It went like this:

D: Hi, I'm moving to a new address and would like to have my current broadband package at the new house.
TT: Okay so you'd like to cancel your account?
D: No, I'd like to take the account with me and have broadband at the new house.
                        TT: So you're moving house?
                        D: Yes
TT: And you'd like to cancel your current account?

I won't bore you with the rest of the conversion but you can guess what my daughter ended up doing!

Yes we are with Tiscali...now talk talk talk etc that is the reason for the overhaul of our services etc we have our phone line with BT and isp with the dreaded talk talk, we wanted to take the Virgin package 20mb download plus tv 65 channels and the phone line etc total monthly charge £29.98 we currently pay 20quid a month to BT and 14.99 to talk talk for 4.2 best download speed (should be 10mb)

Virgin's customer service is sh!te BUT if you persist and get the installation sorted out you'll find that it's generally very reliable and cost effective
