  • Couple of questions

after reading most of the info on the forum about the Egr mod I cant make up my mind if I should do it or not. My truck doesnt smoke at all, she is in pretty good mechanical order.
    1. Should I do it?
    2. Why do the mod when it makes the engine run hotter?
    3. What benifits will i really gain?
    .............................

From a cold start my truck only takes abouut 10minutes to get upto temperature. She has no leaks, the antifreeze mixture is clean, the engine oil is clean, and tthe viscous fan is working as it should.

    1. Is this normal?
    2. How long should it normally take to get upto temperature?

    Thanks in advance

3 - The emmissions will be reduced
    1 - Yes
2 - About 10 minutes for the temperature gauge to give the impression thatv the truck is at its normal operating temperature.
