All I can say is I am getting totally pi$$ed off with being ripped off for everything in this country - for whatever reason!!!

On a good note, popped into Asda last night and veg oil is 2 x 3 litres for £5

        Cheers, Nick

I bought a few bottles to top the tank up for the journey home from london on monday. There and back cost me £110 with about 10 miles running round whilst down there all in all 530 miles(ish).
About right consumption for a 17 yo surf

I personally dont see the point
at that price its .83p/ ltr.
            compared to 1.16 for Derv
saving = 33 pence per ltr.
            65 litres a tankfull
total savings 21.45 on a full tank
sound OK till you consider the time it takes to drive to Asda, actually purchase 33 bottles of veg oil, get it home, and then stand there and empty 65 litres in 2 litre containers into your truck, then have the hassle of disposing of the bottles.
IMO its too much hassle for 20 squid

            but, to each his own..

Only mentioning it!! I go there every week to shop, it's only a mile away from me, diesel is cheap up your neck of the woods, it's only 21 bottles (3 litre) to fill the tank, and to me any saving is a bonus!!!

              Cheers, Nick

Did you see that in order to get the budget through before parliament dissolves for the election that the government dropped the increase in tax on cider due to pressure from the opposition? Bottles of Bulmers all round I think!

Thats more expensive per litre than their 15 litre boxed bottles at 79.9p per litre, OR £12 for the 15 litres.

Round my way its £1.20 for diesel or unleaded.
I usually buy the bottles when I do the weekly shop so I'm there anyway.
When I fill up I drive to the petrol station, pull up at a pump and empty what I have into the fuel tank then top it off with some derv so I would have been there anyway. It takes two seconds to shove the box n bottles in their bins they have by the pumps. I really should use waste oil though. The money saved by using that would be almost free driving.
                            Oh Nana, what's my name?

But not all stores stock the boxes, but they all do the 2 for a fiver deal.
