Just in case you see the following rig hurtling uncontrolled toward you on a motorway - beware!!

My mate is considering buying a boat - a 24ft, 2600kg Bayliner 2355, to be exact.

He said the first thing to do was find a trailer to tow it behind his car - fair enough. Then he said he needed to get a towbar fitted to his car, so he could tow it.

He then told me that he has a BMW Mini Cooper - how scarey is he?

Even showing him a web site detailing a 600kg maximum towing capacity hasn't deterred him!! Eeek!
