  • Tyre help please!

Why can I not find 12.5" wide, 31" BF Goodrich tyres on tinternet? I can see them being driven around, but cannot buy them?

Do they just not sell them anymore?

I'm after M/T or A/T as I havent decided yet. May be I'm just not looking in the right place. Where do you buy your tyres?
    cheers

    I don't think I've seen that size.

    31 x 10.5, 32 x 11.5 and 33 x 12.5

That would make a nice size. Tell us if you find any.

They may make these, but try to find a supplier that can get the 32" ones at a decent price!

        Well,
I could be wrong, I used a online tyre size calculator to work things out. The tyre size is 325/60/15 which means just short of 31" tall, by 12.5" wide.

Silverline done me a set of 32's (Pirelli scorpion muds) on steel wheels for a great price last year. I think around a monkey for 4.

            are the 32" expensive then?

Here is a BFG link http://www.bfgoodrich.co.uk/bfgoodri...204176001.html
I might have to call my local dealer to see if they can order them in.
You can see the 325/60's (which look fat by the way)

Next thing is I would need to find out how much lift the front needs to clear the bumpers on the turns

The tyres wore quick, I wouldn't recommend them for road use.

I know muds wear quicker than A/Ts by what I have been told on here.. Do you reckon the Pirelli muds wear worse than the BFGs?
I've never owned a set of tyres for much longer than a year I'm very shocked at how long the BFG A/Ts have lasted. They are still legal, but the rubber is perishing!

Yup, but they were good in the mud.
I'm now trying Yokohama Geolander MT's, I'll see how they go.

I have phoned round a few places and they all quoted more for 32" A/T's than for 33" A/T's!!
