I've had V6, they like a drink, but a very satisfying drive.

Having had a V6, yes, they are, erm, a little thirsty.

I presume if yours is a Runner it's a manual? If so, try the auto. It used to take me just over a full tank to get from London to York.....

If you run it fairly low and put high octane fuel in it, you may find it helps. I don't know if they sorted it on the UK versions, but the Jap ones run a lot smoother and give about an extra 15% fuel efficiency on high octane, because that's what they use in Japan.

Couldn't afford expensive fuel when I had mine.

The manual UK trucks seemed a little more responsive than the Auto Surfs I've driven.

It would do 300 miles to a tank full on long sensibly drive trips, and about 200-220 miles round town.

Which hurt at 80p a liter when I had mine, scary these days....

Think im going to have to start takeing the train to work on a 75mile round trip lol.

              its most certainly satisfying though!

is there anyone in the south east near hastings with a clue about these thinks I have some problems but need someone to take a proper look
