Hello, there's a few folk from the shire on here. There's quite a few surfs going about the area!

I've a blue/silver 3rd gen, with no running boards and some body work mods (done with trees)

Hi Cabbage,

Ours is also Blue over silver with two blue spotters on the A frame. I was in B&Q at the BOD picking up a wheel barrow and there was one parked in the car park very similar - the wheel cover had a shark on it. you may have read my posts bout the problem i am having with the 4WD - do you know of anywhere local that could sort it?

there's Drum Garage out by Wartle, they're a 4x4 specialist, helped me with my Lawn Rover before, friendly guys and heard alot of good things about them.

I get my Surf MOT'd at Pitmachie garage, they like Imports as there usually not as rutsy as the normal shite!! There not specifically a 4x4 place though.

George Hay at Drum Garage is a nice guy, and always likes to chat about 4x4
passed my 4runner every time i had it MOT there, 5 times. and he remembered the truck each year.
but this year failed the subaru on corroding brake pipes.
Took him 7 hours to put in new brake pipes, as very fiddly over the fuel tank, but he only charged for a couple hours labour.

didnt realize Pitmachie Garage did MOT though, thats only 1.5miles from my house

I spoke to the dude at Wartle - sound as a pound! He actually sounded interested which is more that I can say for the other places that its been. i have an electronic gadgie from work looking at it tomorrow but failing that it will be visiting wartle

I guess - Dunecht 4x4 which is close to you are only interested in selling cars?

Got it in one. They pointed me too westhill filling station who tried but failed!

Put the wagon into the garage last night so fingers crossed he can sort the problem.

Well this guy cannot locate the problem either

he did comment that it's the best one he has ever seen and I would be crazy to get rid of it.

I replied it could only be the best one if the 4WD was working

Think its time to return to the dealer
