That is impressive, i'm looking to do some flashing leds in a model, prob for me is getting em to flash in unison, like hazzards, and perhaps police roof lights, so far it just heads, tails and interior, me latest one finished, a 66
Chrysler 300 lowrider
how do you flash your leds, i.e. do you buy LED's that have the flash circuit built in or do you build your own external flash unit
It'll probably have to be a seperate circuit board, maybe summat from maplins if their small enough, there is a Jap co on ebay that do a 1/25th scale knight rider strobe thing, but at £15 + shipping its a bit dear,
Can probably sort you the flasher circuitry if you let me know what you need Ian - and are prepared to wait for my generally sieve-like brain to catch up.
That is a lovely model. Not my choice of subject but you've got to admire his skill.
Thanks Andy, i'll bear that in mind, US cop car models especially big scale like the vid go quickly and for good money, but i keep looking, another one i want is an ambulance, caddy, pontiac, again rare as rocking horse $hit but resin kits are about for $100,
Vince, you could always buy a doz of the 1/25th scale knight rider strobes and stick em in line

Do you think it would be easy to arrange led's onto a plane?
That is excellent! bet theres a spate of UFO reports whenever he flys it
fitting the LED's should be straight forward it's a power source that might be the problem, unless some sort of mini dynamo could be run off the engines drive,
