Had cover with Green Flag through The Caravan Club. If we broke down on the way to a pre booked site they would take the truck and the caravan to the site, try to get the truck repared but if it couldnt be fixed they would take the whole lot back home at the end of the holiday. Never had to use it though.

pet insurance is another one i dont have, it was going to cost more to insure the dog than it was to insure me!!! fair doo's i dont eat stones, randomly run out in front of cars and try to chew moving tractor tyres but still!!
my breakdown cover is moble phone and directory enquiries, i'd say 75% of my driving is done within 30mils of home, if i cant get home and/or truck shifted with that then i'm pretty useless!!
think i'll be re-fitting the door switch and sorting out a better battery as the cold (and repeated draining) has taken its toll on the truck!
personally i've only required recovering once (in me tractor) that cost me 20quid, a ratchet strap ~25quid and a new mobile ~30quid.Last edited by cabbage; 5 March 2010, 20:01.

Yup with the AA, an to be honest its been a godsend. Considering I had to get mine recovered 4 times within a few weeks I am happy to pay. They never once questioned why it was being recovered again just sent someone out asap. They even took it home on the last occasion an then came out a few days later to take it to the garage.
Very happy with the service. How can I be lost when I've got no where to go
