  • Removing rear interior trim

Hi folks, I need to remove the trim in the rear of my surf so I can remove the old seat belts and fit new ones (previous owners dogs seemed to find the seat belts rather tasty and chewed through them on both sides). I've had a look with the search function but all I can find is comments on how easy it is, which I am aware of but where do I start removing the trim from so I can access them without buggering the trim?

    Thanks in advance.

Start with the bit above the rear window (that the interior light is fitted in), and the strip that holds the carpet down. Theres a couple of bolts that need undoing in the bit behind the trim above the rear window. Be very careful as the plastic clips break very easily.

Give Stormforce a shout, I'm pretty sure he'll be able to help you there.

Aye if teamed up with chloroform and a roll of carpet, but not as a seat belt surely.
