I'd say very unpleasant, as I don't go to the doc's on
a regular basis these procedures are quite a shock to
me, I'm just happy to be resonably well.

It only hurts when I laugh.

Now which one was the most painful,
3 Colonoscopies?.. Nah!
Dislocating my shoulder 9 times and on the last, leaving it out for 3 hours as they did'nt believe I was putting it back in myself...Nah! not quite.
A Hernia which was 7" long that went down into my veg? (and you dont want to know how they cut it out)...Nah! nearly.
KIDNEY STONES .. 5 of them, you would'nt think that something that small would cause so much pain

Been there, it's the male equivelant of giving birth, that's what the nurses
told me, and I belive them no boubts at all.

only three for me tho 1.5 mm each.

Fell down stairs (from the top) once and broke two ribs and popped a hole in my skull when I hit the wall at the bottom head first. Had a little soft patch on my head for ages! Really weird!

Worst bit (worse than not being able to breathe deeply or cough or laugh) though was some time later when my ribs had started to knit back together. I rolled over in my sleep and actually felt them break again which was accompanied, literally, by a blinding white light before my eyes! And it was dark! Feck that hurt worse than the initial break!

I was on my own when I fell down the stairs, and had to drive 1 handed (my right arm went completely numb) to Worcester hospital at about 2am for some serious painkillers so I could sleep.

walked into a lamp post twice, knocking myself out on the first occasion.

pierced my foot with a metal fence spike.

climbed onto a glass topped table and it pulled over, slice of glass in my arm, wrist and one in the floor near my neck..too close for comfort!

dislocated shoulder few times and the last one stayed out and had to be put back, few swear words involved!


the other injuries are from fights I have been involved in.

I did laugh after I regained conciosness and reorientated with where i was.

I only hit the lamp post gently. ( i was watching a sports car as it went past then when I turned back to the direction I was walking.... BANG... then i dropped like a sack of excrement!

Postie friend was doing his round, walked under a road sign which sliced a 4 inch gash across the top of his bald head! Funny thing was, he said he hardly felt a thing, and carried on, but nearly passed out when blood started pouring down his face onto his shirt!
