Hi boys

just fitted new stat and trying to run up to temperature, thing is the guage is flicking off n on so think I've disturbed the wiring or something so shut the operation down, anyone got a pic of where it is on 94 2gen 3.0ltd.tried searching but getting nowhere apart from re-reading all the threads I've already been through. tia, Hazzo

look under where the top hose goes to the housing as it should be under there

cheers Stormy, could find plnty info on the 2.4 but nothing regards 3.0l, will have a look tomoz as its getting dark in this neck o the woods. Hazzo

cheers for that I wondered what the link was for, though it doesn't really matter as I'm on a dongle at the mo and it won't let me access the site, think I've found it thanks to stormy. It'll be immaterial shortly as I'm going to install a proper one.

I've topped up with AF/coolant now, changed stat n rad cap run it to temperature and the steaming has stopped, no excess pressure and running sweet as a nut so I'm hoping I've been lucky and caught it before any head/gasket damage.

I tend to keep on top of servicing throughout and don't know what made me check the coolant levels half way through my trip but I'm ###### glad I did or another surf would probably have bit the dust.
