Greece is more expensive than UK

Unleaded has now reached 1.26€ a litre in the cheapest garage, most are charging about 1.28 to 1.30€ a litre, due to go up again in the Greek budget by about 20%, seems the Greek gov is making everyone else pay for all there corruption and hidden villas, the economy has totally nosedived, and there is worse to come. Oh the joys of recession.

It certainly does not, but think it has more to do with the Greeks losing all the money the EU gave them, ie corruption, projects not started and those that were never finished, and the millions of Euros they cannot find. Wonder where they went.

No-one there wants to pay tax, the tax inspectors are the most corrupt.
The outgoing Government lied about the countries finances.

I don't think the Germans will allow the PIGS to go bust. (Portugal, Ireland, Greece and Spain.)
Maybe the pound being low against the Euro had an effect on the number of Brits visiting the Eurozone countries for holidays.

All the goverments before did the same, the Pasok party, now in Goverment are still fighting in court over selling church land, and the Germans cannot talk as they let Siemans bribe everyone to get the olympic contract, every part of Greek life is about not paying tax, and corruption. The Greeks got themselves into this mess, but expect the EU to baIL THEM OUT, even though i live here and it is badly affecting me, i think they should tell them to get stuffed, and dig themselves out of the hole they dug for themselves.

I hate seaside holidays, I like interesting places, cities etc.

But the family enjoys it. And I take a couple of model planes and find somewhere nice to fly.

Hi mate, it has got very very expensive here, food electric etc has gone through the roof, and everything will keep going up, they are deep in the doo doo here, no work, and lots of places shutting down, strikes everywhere, were all doomed i say, doomed,
