Been fighting under me truck for 2 hours trying to lift the whole gearbox unit back into the place having sorted the clutch.... took a break for lunch came back and slotted it in first go !! now just have too bolt all the bits back on!! and hope it solves my slipping clutch....

Good work. Funny how a break is often all you need to finish a job. I had the same thing last week - replaced the rear springs, then couldn't get the panhard rod to attach back to the axle, as the axle had moved. Spent half an hour trying to lever it, then went for dinner. Mid mouthful, it occurred to me to jack the axle unevenly. Lifted the rear right wheel with left on the ground and it slotted straight in.
