New to this forum, but i'm learning fast. Just got delivery of 2004 4-Runner Sports Edition. Thats what we call our Hilux here Stateside. Absolutely loving it. X-REAS suspension is incredible, sports cars would kill for it. You can go full speed in turn with no body roll what so ever. 4.0 litre V-6 smokes tires when in 2WD mode. Switch to 4WD and lock differential climbs rocks and craws over logs. Greatest investment ever. I need torque specs on oil drain bolt (ft/lb). Any one with a service manual please drop in info...

Welcome to the madhouse. Post some pics of your prida and joy. We would love to see it.

Most of the members here run Japanese imports that are between six and fifteen years old, so I don't know whether anyone this side of the pond would have info on the 2004 mode,l but you never know.
I like the idea of a 4L engine. Most this side are 2.4L and 3L, athough some have fitted 3.5L V8's.
      It's only a hobby!
