Toyota Landcruiser

Hi all,

I know this is not a Surf question but it's driving me mad. As well as my surf I have a 1991 landcruiser 4.2 diesel. I have a fuel pump for a 1994 landcruiser and it is slightly different to my old one. Can anyone tell me what the roundish shaped thing on the top of the pump is? It has an electrical lead coming from it. Where do I connect the lead to? Thanks

the roundish thing on top of the pump with the electrical lead will be there cos the pump is for an efi injection system,is it not efi on your lc?

Funnily enough so am I (well Townhill at least). If your passing throught the village Gra and fancy a cuppa, just look for my truck parked outside my door on the main street.....

well the 1991 4.2 engine is either a 1HZ or a 1HD-T 12v...

The 1994 is a 4.2 24v engine I think...

they differ a fair bit in terms of more electrics, different gearbox etc...
So I think it might just not fit...

Give Paul a call at West Coast off road centre in Southport he will tell you if it fits or not...
