How much lift in total did you need to get those monsters on?

I've had the truck 8yrs now, firstly Pro Comp 2inch and 285/75x16s was happy but after studying Yotatech i wanted more ! Truck now has 1.5 inch bodylift from milner, TJM 2 inch Sus lift with 10mm alloy spacers on front with home made Diff Drop. Had to take wings off to fettle seams, firstly with a Knock ommeter then cut and seam welded. Top arms have been shaved as per info on Yotatech, so now have full clearance on drop off and max up travel. 35s just catching chassis a tad on full lock. Would like to do Lexus V8 conversion so any info would be much appreciated if anybody has done this in uk.

                    Surfenstein,

From what i recall are you the guy who has done Lexus V8 conversion ? If so was it much hassle and on my reckoning the fuel consumption is if anything no different to the 3.0 TD. Reason for asking is i think my cylinder head is cracked !!!

Is the above for my benifit.

Well at least ive got his old ones.

Only just noticed vince you have no side steps, did you take them off or is that factory?
If its not broke don't fix it.

Removed them the day after getting the truck.
They're black ABS plastic steps with the usual steel framework underneath.
                              Wanna buy 'em?

No im ok for side steps, yours looks better without them though.

TBH they look a bit cheap, i'd have taken the off aswell.
