All i want to do is tow this on a trailer!!!

Don't any trailer over 750kg HAVE to be braked, how does that help?

It also depends on whether the trailer is braked or not. As the V5 does not have the max gross weight on it, perhaps you could get away with towing a 2.5 metre trailer or caravan on the road. At present there is legislation being proposed to allow this to happen before the end of the year.
