For a professional decorator these days you are looking around £100/day plus materials, simply due to the cost of living it ain't worth putting the hours in for less than that.
And a professional Gas/boiler engineer will be around £200/day unless you live in London.
And a car mechanic? Well who knows, the can charge an arm and a leg.....

Even though you did all the prep work thats a good price for a pro.

Yep, I'm more than happy to pay that. In case anyone's wondering, 3 of the 4 walls and the ceiling are being lined before they are painted.

Good labourers are earning £125/150 a day in Berkshire so I think thats more than fair. A pro painter must be on a fair bit more than that.
