Stansted Airport Parking

I am buying Surfer Ross old truck from him
I live in France but will be over in two weeks to collect it. Problem is I will be in a car already so the plan is for my mother to leave it at Stansted airport and I will collect it 2 days later after I return from France.
£20 for 2 days parking The ferry back to France is only €25.
Anybody know of a cheaper parking close by?

Ha Ha long story
I am coming over on the 4th Feb with my 806 and family to get my daughter Christened. Am collecting the truck on the 5th from Ross.
My parents (who live next door to me in France) are working in Italy so are flying to the UK for the christening and hiring a car.
They leave the day before me and fly from Stanstead so my dad will drive the hire car and mother can drive the Surf leaving it at the car park.
I will drive from Whitby to Portsmouth get the overnight ferry back to France then 2hrs home unpack etc then get a 2hr lift to the airport for a flight to Stanstead to collect the truck. Drive down to Folkstone get the ferry to Boulogne and drive 630km home. Think I will camp in the back take a BBQ etc make a night of it

All because the b###dy wife doesn't drive

I'm sure if you ask a couple of forum members who live down there that they will have the car at theirs for you and will pick you up and collect you to get the car

Unless somebody lives right next door wouldn't want to put them out for the sake of £20
