Ah right, as long as there is a indicator light showing (illuminated switch or dash) when the foglight is on, then the MOT bloke will be happy.

But when he switches off the ignition and tries to start the engine again, the hazard lights will flash and the imobiliser will have kicked in.

To start the engine again I have to take out the Dome fuse, then all is ok till the ignition is switched off and so on and so on

It won't fail the MOT because of that, you'll just have to let them know what to do if you're not going to be there.

Going back to your first post, how many wires are coming out/in of the white plug you disconnected?

To be honest i'm not sure how many wires I can check tomorrow, I have snipped all the black wires from the plug one at a time and joined them again, the tech guy at the toyota garage said the earth wire is black and goes to the body somewhere a couple of inches from the plug, I think it's a scorpion alarm if that helps

As with most immobisers all the control wires are one colour. It's finding the one That deadens the starting circuit. It's a fair bet that one of the controls is set to keep the starter relay shut. Snipping wires will usually result in many more problems. I would get the immobilisir proffesiobally removed as well. It will cost, but this issue can get worse.

If it'll pass the mot then i can get it to town to the auto spark.
The Toyota guy said if i find the earth wire i can put the dome fuse back in and all will be good

                Finding the earth?
If you take the supply away from the immobilsor, it may have an internal battery that keeps it in a workable state for a little while. Some immobilisors. Fail shut( for want of a better word) taking the power away from it can result in it never stating again... Or until all the control wires are snipped. Bear in mind it could be connected to both ecu's the starter ring, the pump... Anywhere. I wouldn't advise snipping anything if you don't know what's what... It's very easy to end up with a completely disabled truck.
