  • A winter drive (pics)

I took a wee drive up to the hills near my home.
The snow was amazing, like icy powder.
I'm a snowboarder and this is what they call champagne powder, so light you can't even make a snowball.

My son Callum had a great laugh, snow was actually too deep in places for sledging.

Loch Carron had frozen over, looked stunning, pics don't really do it justice.
On the way home we had a purple sunset! amazing.

Surprised the sledge wasn't hooked to the rear of the surf given previous {snowboard down main road}?

I did ask maggie to drive at one point and give me a tow.

she declined stating "Your no right!"

          You know me so well.

Alans pics are a 10min drive from me, also have Edinburgh airport 22mile, Glasgow city centre 18 mile, Stirling city centre 7 mile.

Nearly everywhere up here is the location you describe Rich.

Your in a great location brian. It's lovely over here, but a bit too far for the bigger cities. I hope to move close to Stirling when we come up.

As soon as I get the nod ( contract and a decent wedge) we will be here. I suppose we will have to have a housewarming and all.
