Surf Mechanic (Essex or Nearby)

In desperate need of a mechanic that will fit sus lift for me this week. Anyone have any good contacts? Will to drive a bit, but obviously not to the end of the earth!

Hi mate, got the roughtrax kit (new coils and shocks all round). Problem is, I would normally be able to do it myself no worries, but completely out of time before I leave for Belgium on Thursday! Working till I leave so was hoping to drop it off and get it done whilst I was at work...

I live in Chafford Hundred (near Lakeside) and work in Canary Wharf...

Blimey you left that a bit late if it was a body lift i would have given you a hand to do it
it would not have taken long but shocks and springs outside in this weather is going to freeze me nuts off and i will only have wednesday free if you have somewhere to do it its possible as for mechanics ill have to pass i do the work on my truck myself and most will want to book it in so i am sorry i cant help you with it

Yeah, I know, been waiting for RT to get lift kit in stock since beginning of October! Anyway, it got delivered on Friday, so trying my best to get them on before we go!

Where abouts in London are you? Do you ever go offroading in the Surf?

I am offroading nearly every weekend i love it i belong to a local club as well as the forum i am not far from you either way i am in leyton finish work in morning and i am free for a few days lol a few of us are going to do the plains on the 29th which should be a laugh have you been off road

Yep, sounds very similar! Go out nearly every weekend, mostly in Kent though.

most of them got closed i belong to the herts 4x4offroad club landy lovers but they are not a bad bunch we will have to meet up and do a bit of off road in the new year after i have done the run to scotland to see the northern lights
