[quote=TonyN;606038]I think i'm going to puke.....

May be a bit gushy but, it's the mood I'm in.
    Xmas does that to me.

It must be said though that your remark is hardly condusive to that of a 'super moderator'!

    Merry Xmas to you to.

LOL, its not school! Mods arn't here to set examples, least of all me!!
just make sure rules don't get broken.

Just chatting, things were getting a little highbrow, and Sancho might have been feeling a insecure with someone agreeing, or even disagreeing nicely with him after all this time.

4x4toys.co.uk - Keeping you on and off the road...

                      Hi,

I don't have a qualifcation in English language, or grammar (sp)
I just say it as it is, (Yorks tork). And I'm allways understood.
                      ASK GEORGE.

                      Gman.
If it aint broke, keep goin' till it is.

It is correct to use 'is' if for example a question is asked, e.g. "Where is the Arsenal football team?" or "Where is the Arsenal football stadium?" On the other hand, if you're asking of the players whereabouts, you'd ask, "Where are the players?" not "Where is the players?".

All members, is this not now enough on this subject, or are we to continue?

                        Get it? Got it? Good!

I'm really sorry but I don't agree with the above at all. (btw I hate football so don't care either way..)

People support 'Arsenal Football Club aka Arsenal FC aka The Arsenal' etc... That is one entity - unless you know of multiple Arsenal FC's ?

Fans will shout 'up the Arsenal!' (singular) versus 'up the Arsenals!'(plural) etc etc

I know this as I work in a factory full of soccer fans

Rob.(not a teacher but has gcse english )
