I bought one of them in England, threw a tent in it, traveled around France and Spain for a holiday, drove it back to Serbia and sold it.
It was a big, comfortable motor, huge space in the back, bit thirsty, but if you're on LPG that's OK.
Can't go wrong at that price.

edit: the link isn't working now, but it was a 'north face' edition Ford Exploder for about 500.

arreet chaps, links not working for me either now.

its a ford explorer, sequential lpg conversion from AG gas, good make, with 155 000 on the clock and in general good working order. wants a tyre, and it ticks over lumpy but runs fine. everything works and at £491 a bit of a bargain.
12 months mot and 6 months tax, a spit and polish, and it'll fetch £1500 on ebay easily i would think. then i'll be looking for a 3rd gen 3.0 td with the hairdressers pack

              mick.

                Hi Mick

Glad to see you got something sorted at least. You'll do well to get a 3rd gen for £1500 but I did so it is possible. You may have to spend on it tho to get it how you want ;-)
                Cheers

Oh it's a Ford Exploder. Why didn't ya say?

Is it lumpy on petrol? In my experience it's usually the LPG that makes them run strange. £490 is a bargain. Even if you get £800 back from it once you're finished you can pat yourself on the back.

i've sussed it fella's.................its a leaking inlet manifold. after a good skutch around, prodding and poking, staring at it supping a brew the hissing sound in the background gave itself away.
so its down to frauds for a set of inlet manifold gaskets, around a tenner, and job on next weekend.

as for my saab, that was a mint 9-5 auto, but my mate has snapped that up.

                        mick.

Use a spray like WD-40 whilst the engine is running on petrol to find exactly where the leak is.
