Well the 1st of December was a date I’d been looking forward to for ages..... My last bank loan payment went through so from now on I don’t owe anyone a single penny

From now on my monthly pay check will be all mine, all mine with no credit card bills, overdraft or loans to worry about.

Mine's paid off in something like 11 years currently, but overpayments should bring that down by a couple of years.

PS - your pay is never yours. you have to pay for dole scroungers through your tax. Just thought I'd cheer you up

The house is paid for

I did run up some debts over the last 8 years and it was becoming a burden. From now on if I want something I’m going to buy it with cash rather than go into debt again.

The plan is to put a £ into a savings account for every £ I spend on things I want to buy.... certainly when it comes to buying “big boys toys”. That way I will always have a nice slush fund.

You are right about dole scroungers / benefit cheats... just been talking with my Sister about someone we know who is on benefits because they can’t work.... yet he is out at night photographing celebs at night clubs or going to shows at the NEC etc to take “Press” photos of famous people to then sell online.

I " restructured" this year. Just mortgage money now... And that's all done in two years. Must be a liberating feeling.

Well yes.....
although the Surf has just passed its MOT wanting nothing more than new windscreen wipers. I might as well get the winter out of it and then start looking in the Spring as I don’t really fancy looking at vehicles in this sort of cold and wet weather.
