  • Some pics from Middle Wallop Kite Festival.

    Linda and I spent a busy long weekend filling kiters with beer, heres a few pics. Lots of fun had. 20 kegs of beer drunk by Saturday night, spent Sunday and monday touring around Andover buying all the ale and lager from every off lisence we could find, and emptied ever shop of their stock of plastic pint containers. (bought 500 just from Woolworths!!!)

                Only one other surf there though... where were all the kiting surfers???

                You missed the world's largest ever buggy event - over 700 buggys registered, and over 1000 people were flying!!!

                We sold 23 barrels of beer, lager and Swamp Donkey, plus 28 cases of lager and bitter in tins!!!

                  the Thatcham kite do's cancelled this year... the fella can't get time to organise it.... so no one can come round for beer!...

                  i think i gave his daughter one once too!
                  nee nar nee nar, i'm a fire engine!

                    The Basingstoke kite show is on this weekend, so you can come round for a beer here!

                    and the guy organising it might have a daughter as well!!!

                        That's nice. I come back off me hols suntanned, feeling fit, with sunbleached hair from power kiting on Brean Beach. You have to be chubby to power kite properly. It's all about ballast. I thought everyone knew that.

                            Yeah - she looks upset doesnt she....

                            Best bit was when I tried to drive the lorry home without realising someone had tied a kite to it!!
