  • 1st offroading trip......

    ended in disaster

Got stuck in the grass, well what I thought was grass and sunk down into the marshy earth

Had to go and knock the door of a local farmer and get him to tow me out with his tractor

4wd was on and all 4 wheels spun in deeper, never tried the low ratio, couldnt figure out how to move from high to low. I've since discovered you need to be in park lol

                  There's another rule.

If in doubt, walk it first. You probably would have discovered the ground was too soft. You'll know next time eh?

Are they road tyres you have? Not gonna get far on wet grass / soft ground on road tyres. Best mod you can make is getting yourself some good quality all terrains such as BF Goodrich or General Grabbers.

Did the farmer thank you for ploughing his field?

Haha, fancy going out without a lift, winch, off road tyres, snorkel, hi-lift jack, wellingtons, flask of coffee, tent, locking diffs.
