Just wondering what do you people pay to insure your Hiluxi?

Ws looking to buy one for a£1800 but the cheapest quote is almost £600
That's for my dad who is 52 and 5 years NCD, and me as a named driver (I own another car). It drops by £30 at best without me on the policy.

    1994, 3.0 auto.

Seems a bit steep to me.

I just insured through the RAC. I am 51, 9 years NCB. £204. Put the wife on it as it brings the premium down having her on it.

they couldn't get below 1000 and the kicker is I already insure my M6 with them for 1400. where is the sense in that?

P.s. the car has a cat 2 that immobilisier as well.
I just don't get it. perhaps I said something wrong that is irrelevant in my mind, but makes a difference to them... *scratches head*

£199 with sureterm, age 46, 9+ years ncd, with 1 claim in last 5 years. You might try a cashback site & get something back that way. www.moneysavingexpert.com/insurance/compare-cheap-car-insurance Have a look at this link, hopefully it will be of some help.

At least thats some improvement. There was a time, when I use to change insurance every year, just to avail of introductry offers which would be always be better than the renewal. But, I've been happy with A.flux since I went to them. Every year, I tell them I'm leaving, then they match the best quote i've been given. You gotta play them as much as they play you.

                      Thanks for that!
Turned out the £326 quote waas for a manual and mine is an auto. They could not insure the manual.
So from having a few £300-£400 went back to £600 as being the cheapest from some jap import experts.
Called sky and got a quote of £381. Can't be unhappy with that!
                      Thanks again!

Your quote with Flux is without NCD, you already have that applied to the BMW's premium. One policy, one discount. To have 2 discounts you must have accrued it on 2 policies with you as the main driver.
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's
