Obviously the yanks fit them for roll protection and general rock crawling but does anyone know how much they help in a collision? i.e. for arguments sake would they make a big difference to crash safety in a vehicle that is pre impact protection and without airbags etc?
in a collision with another car/truck i suppose it would put stress on the chassie not the crumple zones of the origional car so prob cause more damage to the truck.
Not my cup of tea.
For what it cost to cover that Landcruiser in scaffolding, the guy could have bought a beat up off-roader and keep the 'cruiser looking nice.
crap welding, that cage really needs bigger diameter pipe and theres not enough triangulation in it,one roll and the cage will get bent to buggery,on the upper hand those proffet cruisers are ace,yea i wish i had $50,000 dollars as well.
