Got my renewal the other day. Came in at £221 with Adrian Flux. Just thought I try a few others. Manage to get down to £199 with Sureterm/Grouprama. Fluxie came back at £211, the lowest they could go. Hmm, do I stay loyal to Flux for the sake of a tenner or loyal to my pocket ?

I don’t know how people get it so cheap
I’m 46, full NC, no convictions or accidents, live on the Wirral and park in my drive.....
I paid £420 for the Surf and £190 for the sports car on a classic policy.
I use the local brokers in town as there are as cheap is anything on line. They where even better than Adrian Flux for the classic policy.
Wonder if it could be because it is the range topping SSR-G V6 Petrol version?
One advantage with using the local brokers is that if I ever need to claim I can call into the office and sort it out face to face, rather than spend ages being passed from one person to the next on the phone.Last edited by PDR; 30 October 2009, 12:13.Mine WAS a 150 bhp V6 and ran on PETROL

I used to be with "Autorader Insurance" My mini cooper S (06) was £324pa in central London fully comp. They quoted me £1760 for my Surf when I got it 3 weeks ago as it is an "Import" Oh what eva, get over it!
I ended up paying just £320 fully comp with DIRECT LINE. They gave me 8 weeks free insurance per year as I have house and dog insurance with them.
It pays to go direct....I told the butcher I'd give him £25 if he got the meat down off the top shelf. He said he couldn't. The steaks were too high.
