I believe an aspersion is being cast in your general direction. The usage of "poof" as opposed to "puff", but I prefer the latter. Much more scope for some stein/rod leach baiting.

mine does 60 with the wind behind me and slipstreaming an artic, slows down again though when you pull out to overtake though

sorry graham dont understand i have got a poof when i drive in the dark and another car folows me the car behind gets covered in a poof of smoke but its ok as you can only see the poof when its dark
