...............why so bl00dy expensive?

lets to be honest, there's not much too'em. the biggest part of the job is the fuel tank, being a pressure vessal and all that i expect to pay a few quid for them. but the rest is just cheap, just about buy it from anywhere sort of stuff. rubber pipe, electrical componants from china, then they charge the earth for fitting it. the only specialised bit is the tuning/setting up on a laptop. then there not overly reliable.

so why the expense?

Probably the same reason people dont pipe their gas fire with bits of old hosepipe

I've had 3 LPG conversions done over here. parts come to about 300 Euro's and it's 100 for fitting.
And you get a test certificate.

So I dunno why it's expensive.

Edit. they were on Lambda control, the newer sequential is a bit more costly.
