Landy's are like women though. Contrary and awkward to the core. Whenever you want something to stay inplace, it practically drops off. When you actually want something to come off, you'd think they had used an industrial bonding compound to hold them inplace.

I can see some of their point of view, (namely the ones who used to let people roam and stopped letting them do so). Some people just take the mick by walking in with empty toolboxes and walking out with full ones.

They know what I'm like at the local yards though, so they just give me that 'the saddo's back look' and let me go delving. Even now though, (I class it as politeness), I never take tools in except in the hand or pocket and always empty out my pockets before leaving the yard. They never play silly buggers with me so I make sure I return the favour by making sure they know they have no need.

my scrappy takes no shoit or likes thieves, he caught a guy who was stealing loads of relays and small bits, he locked the guy in the boot of a car till after closing time, then made him dig his own grave at shotgun point.... well after starting to bury the guy he let him get up and told him never to come near the scrapyard again,

That's the key. Deal with them honestly and they will let you delve all day. I've always done it that way and never had any of the scrappers get snotty yet. If I have to nip out of the yard to the vehicle to get another spanner or suchlike, into the office first and empty all the kit out and leave it on the counter. They know you aren't trying to shaft them then.

this guy has a big box of spanners, so you just get what you need from it... i usually just bring a pliers for when i need to cut into looms for something....

They have a basic rule round this end. Don't ask to borrow a tool from them because the answer will be no, (but in a slightly less subtle way). You bring your own tools or you don't get.

yeah its constant!! its not a large compressor tho! just been out and installed it sounds good just unplugged one of the surf horns and ran the cable to the new horn installed next to the battery where the air scoop was removed for the snorkel easy job!! unless of course it catches fire due to the wrong relay!!

be carefull though, if you do a nice friendly beep to say a friend that will be okay, but a constant full on jam the beeeeep say in a road rage styley you are gonna need a decent sized relay, do you suffer from road rage ?

No the wires won't burn out, the truck will not catch fire, I've already told you that it will be OK to just plug the new horns into the existing wiring.
Now are you going to listen to a troll or to someone who fitted same horn as you six years ago and it still working OK?

Oi if you read it i did not ignore his reply! i fitted the horn on the basis of that reply thank you very much!! only after the fitment of the horn did people come on and start saying i would need a bigger relay! and i was just asking the question where would i see problems!
