  • My first proper off road thang...and it was great!

    Just a few pics from my first 'proper' off road jolly.
    The desolate looking place is at 1500m up the side of a volcano(I included the altimeter pic to show ya) just south of Lake Taupo
    The night pics were taken up the Rummatukka's(sp?) and is open to the public albeit with big signs saying "4WD's only"......just one problem now....I'm hooked!

    Winter is here, I can tell, dipped below 10 degree's cee today...

        Yeah it does! The volcano pics were taken about 14km's from the nearest sealed road, which does make you feel kinda heroic!!lol

          Don't think anywhere is that far from a road in the UK. Would love to do a 'expedition' that lasted a couple of days.
