      im kinda stuck for time too,was meant to go in bodyshop this week,now put off a week,crazy im gonna do all that then park it for atleast 2 months lol

          well how about this then. burped the system yesterday, just before i came in for a whinge about the telly,got a fair old bit of air out ( i had previously done stat and cap). when i left it, the expansion botle was about 3/4 full. went out this morning, its 1/3 full and didnt ned any water added to the rad...hmmm.
          it doesn't get hot, the heating is so warm it burns your leg (back and front)

          any ideas im stumped now ?

            similar to mine mate,mine doesnt overheat but if u refill the water,let it tick over,it will push the water out of overflow pipe once warm,i was stumped yesterday,so drained water out,restarted with rad cap off and u could see and smell the smoke from exaust comin out of rad

              thats i though andy, it didnt take any water. it did what it was supposed to. It expanded into the expansion bottle, and as the lump cooled, it went back in...after two weeks of using 1/2 to 1 litre a day as it spat it all out...it seems fine now.

                it is poss for it to do that tho,as time goes on it will get worse

                          I'll have you know, it's back to square one. Left it to cool down for over three hours...took a litre . Ah well stevo needs calling. I'm getting my co car in December, but till then I have use of a 58 plate diesel Volvo estate... Nice.

                              Update:


                              Hey andy, just booked mine I'm at stevo's for a mew head. I get a genuine modified new head, and genuine head bolts and gasket. New timing belt and Toyota coolant all comes with a 12 month guarantee....

                              £1050 fitted... I'm well impressed.
