              thanks for the welcomes picked surf up tonight oo excited decided against all better judgement and common sense to drive and may i say sensibly(got to try new things) to get home.Talked to the lad who owned it asked a million times is it the turbo are you sure it doesnt overheat will it drive "yes its the turbo had it off myself and checked" "Nooooo Nooooo overheating never" "yes will drive no probs just dont over do it"
              So handed over hard earned honest money and was on way 12 miles down the road Pisttttt Steam and pop. Pulled over popped bonnet blew pipe off so as trucks rummbled past got on phone oh what a surprise no answer ,let her cool down drove on to petrol station (safest move ) then after lots ofdecided enough was enough after recieving call saying not our problem what you want us to do Well i was so good no swearing just calm threating voice you will pay.drove home well half way two overheating stops later decided to tow only to be pulled by mr plod offering to safe guard us into safe layby which he can watch surf while on rounds. But after all that and discovering he was a prize numpty who couldnt paint by numbers loads of switchs disconnected and probably pipes on wrong way to dark to see am still smiling OOO its has a 1 1/2 lift already so can tick that off just lots of other things to get now(new engine) ah well long drawn out peeved off but still smiling

                  whats not to like sat all that way up there let them tell me now" ###### blond women drivers" i will just drive over there stupid matiz already getting plan of action strip down this weekend(the surf) redo everything that plank did full service and better half thinks he know what prob is with turbo only wants to fix it so he can go out playing so hopefully next week mmmn will be done ready for bull bar side steps and anything else i can convince him it needs

                    Nothing much to go wrong with a turbo, it's just an impellor thats spun by exhaust gasses.

                          dont tempt me on the v8 well go on then and payback will happen slowly painfully and i can sit all smugin the knowledge he is useless and about to screw his new disco the same as he has the surf so watch out for cheap disco in grimbsy

                            Sorry to hear your story - it happened exactly like that to me too.. All I can say is try your utmost to get your money back and buy one that hasn't been messed with. Mine ended up costing me another £1000 + 100's of hours to get all sorted and on the road properly. It's really not worth the hassle if you can get your money back.

                              even spending another £1000would still bring the price to half that of a forecourt but probably why im smiling he paid lots for it broke it sold it to me cheap we are like bob the builder we can fix it so long can get hammer in

                                If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay him for it? Personally, I'd side with Wishbone on this. Seems silly paying for what is, mechanically, a wreck that you're going to have to rebuild. You can get some good ones for practically dirt cheap prices.
