Newb Surf owner from Crosby, Liverpool

Hi all, I have succumbed to the lure of the surf. It was a Surf or a Defender and found this first.

Ive had it 3 weeks and Im loving it so far. Just a little oil leak to sort now I have the time, but its been to cumbria and cornwall no probs so far.
Ive read the faq so there wont be any of the usual threads appearing, promise.

Apache will deffo keep an eye out for you. Mainly commute to wavertree from crosby.

Found the source of the leak - it is the rocker cover gasket. Just off to get one now. At least its a straight forward one to do, Im dreading the radio

hello all, changed the radio today and changed it back again as the rear speakers didnt work with the new one and now the aerial wont pop up again these things are sent to challenge us.
I still love it though

Its all fixed now and everything works sweet as a nut (fingers crossed). Just thought Id let you know. Its the end of the commentary of repairs for now. Cheers and hope to see some of you out and about.
