Hiya guy's....
I joined this forum a while ago now, done lots of reading but never posted
iv'e had my surf about 12 months now and love it as do most of you guy's,.....

I was reminded about this forum by one of the members at a local classic car show recently, i also own a Triumph TR7 which i was showing at the time
I'm guessing it was "Blackpoolsparky" but i may be wrong.......

when i first got it the rear window was sticking now it just dosent move the motor is whirring like a good' un and will move up and down also left and right with the aid of a suction cup/dent puller and the key turned i guess the window has come out of the runner or a snapped cable or something or maybee the cogs in the motor.............
i'll just have to bite the bullet and fix now

The drive bit come unbonded, thers a mod to fix it without buying another motor, also the motor from the passenger rear off side doors the same along with the motor from a celica or summat (forgot the model) try a search for rear window motor, i'll have a look as well,

Yea, it was me that you met at the car show a while back.
Welcome (back) to the forum.

BTW, I just sold my Surf yesterday, but will have a new motor very soon.
Not many Surfers on the Fylde coast on this forum, but a few not too far away, Chester, Liverpool,etc.
There was a chap from St. Annes who organised the illuminations run, he however no longer has his Surf and dosent get on the forum much.
