  • is this any good?

was thinking about buying this but wanted a second opinion.
please dont bother telling me to only buy Snap On. im well aware that they are the nutz and will last forever but im not a mechanic nor will i be using them everyday.
so will do these look ok and for the price?

Go to machine mart, at least you can handle the stuff before you buy it. Halfords Pro stuff is good too. As I break stuff such as ratchets, I replace with their stuff and its nice and solid and well made.

Hey goodcat looks good mate, go for it. Im looking at getting a fancy multi-adjustable torque wrench soon. One i was using snapped the other day!
Basically a good wrench set will last forever if their well built.

oh. well it has both metric and SAE so i thought that would be good if i ever come up against odd nuts. they always pop up now and then. also a socket set doesnt have to be just for cars only does it.

Would'nt trust socket sets on ebay, i've had to many "cheap" sockets split open on a tough nut, buy the best you can afford even if it only a small set,
you'll mostly need metric, i have loads of the old AF, whitworth etc, never use em

I've got a load of imperial spanners up at my dads 120 miles away. That should tell you how useful they are...

Just buy a decent metric set - nothing on the Surf is imperial.

                          No it's not, it's nearly £60.

The big (ish) Halfords tool kit is only £99 just now, buy that.
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's
