When you say 'big' do you mean the box size or the number of pieces? Box size, no idea; pieces, 120 I think.

It's not on offer just now (on their website anyway), so at the full price of £169, which is still very good value.

            Hi mate,

I have loads of metric & AF shiney sockets 1/2" & 3/8" drive
but I tend to use these Ebay360190944900 and my trusty
old ratchets. You won't break these sockets!!

            Gman.
If it aint broke, keep goin' till it is.

Your welcome to em Matt, there are open ender and rings in there too, i'll have to sort em out and see if we can arrange a surf train or summat,
haveing said the surf is all metric tho i did ues the ring spanner in the pic to get a very stubborn main shaft nut off, (think it was a 3/4 af) the socket i try'd first just split wide open, managed to get this ring on haveing cut it in half in order to get a long sq lenght of box tube on it, as ya can see it bent quite a bit before the nut gave, quality (like breeding) will out

Cheers. Other than the Surf, everything else I work on is good old Imperial, as a rule. Whitworths on rare occasions.

Christ, that must have been one stubborn nut, judging by that spanner.

certainly was matt, i had a 3ft lenght of tube on that spanner and it took all my strenght, tried "shocking" it free wth sharp blows but no good, when it finally gave it sounded like a rifel shot, thought the bolt had sheared, $hit meself!! but it was ok

Not that I've ever found. I dare say you could bodge an imperial spanner onto some sizes if you were that way inclined...
