i seem to have 2 egr things on my isuzu both have been disconnected (before i bought it )


my surf has only one and its still connected


should i disconnect it and what would be the benefit in doing this .thanks .steve

the one you need to doisconnect is the one nearest the bulkhead

That's not the EGR. The EGR assembly is just visible on the right hand edge of that pic. That assembly with the two hoses controls the manifold butterfly.

Correct. If disconnected, your vision will become blurry the next time you switch the engine off!

disconnected it stops the black smoke u get,or atleast some of it

We're right. It is important in some countries, but not the UK.
