Why do you want LC shocks?

its not so much that i want them, more of a case that i was told various times that if i got the LC springs that i would have to get the longer shocks aswell. one would assume they were reffering to the LC shocks!!?

mate, you shouldn't assume anything when it comes to modifications. especially when the mod you're fitting is a part from a different motor.

get the +4 ones then or the ones for the springs you are getting, Springs effect your ride height.

You'll get enough. You can still fit the springs, just return the shocks unused and get +2" or +3" Procomp, TJM or one of the others out there. I've got +3" procomps on the back and +2" TJMs on the front! Haven't topped out any of them. The short wishbones on the front limit the travel there.

No, springs hold the truck up, not the shock absorbers.

1 last thing, as im now worried people have failed to mention to me, when i wind my torsion bars up at the front +2", will i need to change my shocks aswell? or can i keep them standard for now?
im assuiming i need to put longer ones in!?
